On February 21th, 2024 (Wednesday), the PhD Academy Movie Committee is happy to be screening the most recent project from director Yorgos Lanthimos. Poor Things tells the incredible tale about the fantastical evolution of Bella Baxter, a young woman brought back to life by the brilliant and unorthodox scientist Dr. Godwin Baxter.
It has been nominated for 11 Oscars and stars Emma Stone, Mark Rufallo, and Willem Dafoe.
