Movie Night with "The French Dispatch"
The movie to be screened is "The French Dispatch”.
On Nov 10th @ 19.30, Wednesday, the PhD Academy movie committee will be screening Wes Anderson's latest comedy-drama anthology film, "The French Dispatch" at cinema Lumière (Bassin 88).
Tickets will be EUR 5 and can be bought here. Each ticket will be given 2 complimentary drinks.
The French Dispatch
The highly anticipated film stars a heavy-weight cast including Bill Murray, Owen Wilson, Tilda Swinton, Frances McDormand, Timothée Chamalet and Benicio del Toro, along with short appearances from other big names too. Its plot follows three different storylines as the French foreign bureau of a fictional Kansas newspaper creates its final issue. Releasing at the end of October, the film set the record as highest grosser in the opening weekend post the COVID-19 pandemic.
